GENERAL

Anyone can compete! We have divisions available for you regardless of your style, discipline, age, or skill level.

An open martial arts tournament is a competition that is open to all styles, disciplines, ages, and rank/skill levels. We offer Korean, Japanese/Okinawan, Chinese, hard-style, soft-style, traditional, creative, musical, extreme, breaking, first timer divisions and more.

No! We also offer hundreds of under belt divisions across multiple age groups and disciplines. Under belt division winners even have a chance to win an overall at the Warrior Cup Mini Finals!

ORGANIZATIONAL

More information will be announced about the NASKA Banquet after the Toronto Tournament of Champions. Registration and award availability is pending the final ratings to be released by Mr. Carnahan and the NASKA office. You can find all the available information at NASKABanquet.com

The NASKA Banquet is an awards ceremony to honor and recognize competitors accomplishments and titles from the previous NASKA competition season.

NASKA or North American Sport Karate Association is one of the most well-known tournament associations in the world. Undeniably recognized as the highest level of competition among the worlds best sport karate competitors.

6A signifies the event rating that the AKA Warrior Cup holds with the North American Sport Karate Association. 6A is the highest awarded tournament rating within NASKA.

AKA or American Karate Association is one of the largest martial arts associations in the country. Founded in 1964 and steeped in tradition, the American Karate Association continues to uphold the traditions of the past while nurturing the talent of the future.

GN or Grand Nationals signifies the event rating that the AKA Warrior Cup holds with the American Karate Association. GN is the highest awarded tournament rating within the AKA.

COMPETITION

Yes! We have paramedics onsite throughout the duration of both the daytime eliminations and Warrior Cup Finals competition.

Yes! We provide mats for all rings!

What are Class AA divisions? Class AA divisions are also sometimes known as “NASKA Divisions” or “Pro Divisions.” You can expect to compete against other national and world level competitors that travel the world circuit and are world rated. Competitors who are wanting to take their competition to the next level and compete against some of the best competitors in the world should compete in Class AA NASKA divisions.

What are Class A divisions? Class A divisions are also sometimes known as “NON-NASKA” or “Amateur Divisions.” You can expect to compete against mostly local or regional competitors with little to no experience on a national or world tour level.

Yes! We provide music boxes for all rings with musical divisions. We also provide an auxiliary cable and an iPhone lightning to auxiliary dongle.

No! All competitor wristbands are valid for entry throughout the duration of the event and include general admission to the Warrior Cup Finals. General admission is open seating and first come, first serve. If you would like to upgrade your general admission access to reserved seating, you receive a $20 credit toward your upgrade.

TRAVEL

Flying into either Chicago O’Hare (ORD) or Midway International (MDW) Airport is fine. Midway International is technically a little bit closer.

There is no shuttle from the airport to the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

FINALS

That depends on the spectator band. Saturday Spectator and Weekend Pass include general admission to the Warrior Cup Finals. General admission is open seating and first come, first serve. If you would like to upgrade your general admission access to reserved seating, you receive a $20 credit toward your upgrade.
